Services


Ocean View Lodge is an all inclusive Lodge. We provide fishing on one of our boats, lodging, breakfast, pack lunch on the boat and dinner back at the lodge. Look no further for your Alaskan fishing adventure.
We offer 4-7 day lodging and fishing adventures. If these don't fit your needs then ask us about custom fishing packages.


Most of the fishing takes place in the protected waters of Sitkalidak Straits and the deep bays that make up Kodiak Island.
Salmon fishing is done by trolling.

Halibut, rockfish and lingcod is done by bottom jigging in depths from 60 feet to 300 feet.


King Salmon and Halibut fishing starts May 15th and the king salmon fishing slows down by the first week of July.

July 1st Ling Cod season opens. Halibut fishing is still strong and there are a few kings still around.

The first week of August our local Coho's, 12-18lbs, show up and peak around the end of the month. Halibut and Ling cod are still readily available.

Packages include:
Lodging, meals and fully guided fishing adventure.
We also provide all salt-water fishing tackle, rain gear, boots, fish processing and freezing up to 100lbs of fish.

Packages do not include:
Liquor, beer or wine, but you are welcome to bring your own.
Fishing license, hip boots, chest waders, fly rods and flies or casting rods.

Airfare from Kodiak to Old Harbor.

To get to the Ocean View Lodge you must fly to Anchorage then catch a flight to Kodiak city and then on to Old Harbor. There are many different airlines choices to fly into Anchorage.
